On January 16 and 17, the Door & Access Systems Manufacturers Association held its fourth annual poster contest for associate members at the 2017 DASMA Annual Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona. This event gives associate members an opportunity to showcase their company by creating a poster that highlights their products and/or services.
Since Scottsdale’s slogan is “The West’s Most Western Town”, the FlexiForce marketing team came up with the idea of creating a covered wagon, an icon of the American West, out of garage door hardware. The end result is a fun exercise for the reader to see how many components they can recognize, from the #1 hinge at the front to the hardware kit boxes at the back.
Though we did not win the contest this year, we received several compliments from meeting attendees on our clever design.
