We are excited to announce a new safety switch for our cable break devices that increases the overall security of your door.
The 440SWN safety switch is an alternative for the 445SW switch and can be used on our 440 and 440S cable break devices. When a cable breaks, the 440(S) is activated and will stop the door from falling down. However, during this time the operator will keep running, which causes slacked cables and possibly some damage to the door. By adding the 440SWN safety switch, the operator will stop once the cable break device is activated.
The installation of the safety switch is very easy, all that is needed is a M6 bolt & nut, which are already available on the 440 & 440S cable break devices.
