We would like to inform you about a change in the myQ server that affects our LiftMaster 828EV gateway.
The LiftMaster internet gateways (828EV) with a production date before 01.08.2015, will no longer connect to the myQ system from December 13, 2019. LiftMaster has updated the myQ server, which means that the older gateways that are not connected yet (still in the warehouse) will no longer be recognized with the new server.
You can check the label on the back of the internet gateway to see the production date.
If you still have the old gateways that are produced before 01.08.2015, please contact your local sales team.
