The 1038ABS profile is an alternative for the 1038 aluminum profiles, and can be used as both a top and bottom profile. Made out of ABS material, the profiles are very durable and also provide UV protection.
Because of the material and the shape, the linear heat loss of the door can be reduced with 50%-70% depending on the seal that is used, resulting in a better U-value.
The 1038ABS has a double T-shape in order to connect bottom astragals and top seals, and is applicable for 40mm panels.
